Welcome to Country
Quarter
Summer is here, and I
love the nice weather. I hope you are all
finding something to fill your long warm days with
now that they have finally arrived. I am
enjoying tea and breakfast on the deck in the
morning sun and watching the kids play outdoors.
The gardens are calling me and I am ignoring them.
I am not a gardener. I would rather be sewing in my
free time, which is very limited lately. I
think I will have to quilt a beautiful garden
because I will never see a weed free garden in my
yard.
I am having a great
time in the new shop. I would give up gardens
(gladly) to play in the quilt shop. I may even
have time to sew this summer. Let's keep our
fingers crossed. I went to quilt market in May
and had a great time. It was an opportunity to
meet wonderful friends both old and new. I
hope you will find some inspiration in the shop with
all the new patterns, fabric, and kits.
I can't wait to see
you at Country Quarter to share time, treasures, and
talents.
